In ELA, we started writing poems. First, we started off easy by using templates. Later, we were given more difficult poem assignments. For example, we had to recreate one of the most famous poems called “A Dream Deferred”. At first, it was challenging to reach my creativity for this, but I enjoyed finding different words to make my poems.
In this assignment , Brooke and I wrote four poems about color using imagery. What it would taste, feel, smell, and sound like. Afterwards, we combined two poems each and put it into a slideshow to present to the class. Communication Skills was the 21st century skill used during this assignment because it started off working with a partner. We looked over each other's poems to read then discussed what we liked about it. Also we talked about different ways of what our theme would be for presentation. Lastly, we presented to the class with a clear and loud voice. There wasn’t a difficult part in this, I would’ve said using my creativity. However after a while of doing these type of assignments. I got the hang of it and the thoughts came naturally. |
